Heat Sources

LTD Heat - Gigadrons can operate on heat energy available from LTD (Low Temperature Differential) provided by heat pumps, from Ambient Air, Geo-Thermal; and from HTD (High Temperature Differential) sources Fuel Combustion - burning Diesel, Hydrogen or Natural Gas, Geo-Thermal, and particularly,  Stratospheric heat encountered by high altitude Supersonic Aircraft and Spacecraft during re-entry.

LTD Heat sources, including heat from below the ground (anything up to 50ft deep), and harvesting Ambient Air heat energy (using heat pumps) from outside air temperatures in excess of 22°C.

Heat Pumps - COP - Coefficient of Performance
It has long been known that heat pumps (freely available today) have a COP exceeding 3:1.
This means :-

• 1kW of electricity fed to electric fan heater gives out 1 kW of heat energy
• 1kW of electricity fed to a heat pump gives out 3 kW of heat energy.
  (sounds like a free lunch and perpetual motion? No! Heat pumps have been available for sale for decades giving 3kW of heat output for 1kW of electricity input) - proof visit  www.lennox.com

A heat pump is a LTD heat output source having maximum condenser temperatures around 40-55'C.
Until Gigadronics, there have been no thermodynamic machines that could harness LTD heat sources on a commercially economic scale.
The science of Gigadronics can harness LTD heat energy on a commercially economic scale.
Currently, tests are being carried out on numerous Gigadron products for safety, commercial viability and endurance before being released to the public.

Approaches from Potential International Licensees to participate in tests on numerous Gigadron products are welcome.

At temperatures lower than 10'C Gigadrons can supplement their energy input from clean diesel fuel burners supplied with pressures exceeding 2,400 bar which gives particulate and pollution-free burning.
